Code Enforcement
The purpose of Code Enforcement is to ensure the city residents and business owners are in adherence to the ordinances enacted by the City Council.
Stilwell's code enforcement officer is Andrea Perkins. Code enforcement is vital to the community to ensure the residents and business owners can enjoy a safe and secure environment. Code Enforcement does aid in the preservation of property values. The ordinances are for the protection of the citizenry, their property and overall well-being of Stilwell.

Andrea Perkins is the new Code Enforcement officer in Stilwell. She comes to the job after two years as Code Enforcement officer in the City of Fayetteville. She’s been on the job for a couple of weeks, and is enjoying meeting citizens and working with staff.
“I have experience in Code Enforcement and I love the small town community. I grew up in a small town in Arkansas. The sense of community and camaraderie that comes with working in a community like Stilwell is bar none in my opinion,” said Perkins.
She likes the work.
“I enjoy helping people, assisting with making the city a safe environment and working within the community,” Perkins said.
Perkins said she feels right at home here.
“The people I work with and the community is amazing. Everyone has been so welcoming. It feels like home to me and I am proud to work for the City of Stilwell,” she said.
On a personal note, Perkins, Arkansas is home and she has two boys, ages 14 and 12.
“Hobbies are spending time with my family, watching my kids play sports, concerts, karaoke, floating, fishing and hunting. I also love going to watch drag racing when I can find the time,” she said.
One thing about Perkins that not everyone knows is, “Even on the worst days, singing and dancing to the right music can instantly put me in a good mood.”
